Community Points & Ranks

The Millaverse uses multiple point types to reflect different kinds of activity and engagement.

Q&A

Each point tracks a different kind of activity so the system stays fair:

  • Readers are rewarded for reading.
  • Helpers are rewarded for helping.
  • Creators are rewarded for posting.
  • Supporters are rewarded for supporting.

This prevents one activity from dominating everything.

Ranks primarily depend on:

  • Essences (minimum requirement)
  • Crystal Points (optional alternative or booster, depending on rank)

No — Essences cannot be directly purchased.
They are earned through participation, achievements, and activity.

(This keeps ranks and reputation meaningful.)

Some points (like Essences or Crystal Points) may decrease when you spend them on:

  • Unlocking ranks
  • Unlocking achievements or badges
  • Trading in special systems

Your activity-based points (Post, Read, Like, Answer) are permanent records.

Essences accumulate from multiple actions (reading, posting, achievements), so they often increase first.
Other points grow as you engage in their specific activities.

No — points do not expire unless you spend them.

  • Badges represent specific accomplishments or milestones.
  • Ranks represent your overall progression and status in the community.

That depends on what you enjoy:

  • Love reading? → Read Points
  • Love helping? → Answer Points
  • Love discussion? → Post & Topic Points
  • Love collecting? → Badges & Achievements
  • Love supporting? → Crystal Points
  • Love everything? → Essences

Everything contributes — just in different ways.
